Stevens acquaints readers with a “people theoloy” that challenges the division of God’s people into laity and clergy. He provides a theological foundation for each person’s calling to do the Lord’s work. He lays a solid biblical foundation for changing individual lives and the life of the church as a while. Although the book has an academic feel, it is accessible. Each chapter ends with discussion and study questions.
